    Urakata Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") will comply with the obligations stipulated in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other laws and regulations related to the protection of personal information, and also comply with guidelines set forth by competent ministers, when handling personal information (information that can be used to identify a specific individual).

    In order to properly handle the personal information entrusted to it, the Company will strive to continuously strengthen and improve its website management system, including reviewing this policy, through the development of internal rules and the implementation of internal audits as appropriate.

Protecting Our Environment

  • We at Kikka Hirado are committed to realizing a sustainable society and work together with all concerned parties as we demonstrate our desire to protect the beautiful natural environment of Hirado, Nagasaki Prefecture, and Japan through responsible environmental behavior.
    • Drinking water is provided in cans. Water served at events is provided in carafes or recyclable containers.
    • Reducing plastic use: We are taking steps to reduce the usage of specific plastic items. We have also adopted the use of PLA (poly-lactic acid) straws and refillable amenity bottles.
    • The water pressure in guestroom showers has been reduced as a water conservation measure.

Restaurant Policy

  • Accommodations for Allergies

    • Customer safety is our highest priority, and we will do our best to make accommodations for those with food allergies. If you have any food allergies, please let us know when you make your reservations. Please note that we may refuse requests made on the day of your stay due to considerations for customer safety.
    • Cooking and preparation of meals for guests with food allergies are done in the same kitchen and using the same cooking utensils as other menu items, so we are unable to completely prevent airborne dispersal and trace amounts of allergen contamination.
    • Allergen information will be provided based on the raw ingredients used and ingredient information (product labels) from producers and other sources.
    • If it is difficult to serve safe food and beverages, or if a guest has a serious condition, we may have no choice but to refuse service.

Baby and Kid-Friendly Hotel

  • We offer the following services to help you and your family feel safe and comfortable during your stay.

  • Meals

    • Highchairs and children’s tableware are available at the restaurant.
    • Children under 12 can choose from either the kids' menu or the same menu as adults.
    • Children 6 and Under can eat breakfast for free. A kids' dinner menu is also available with advance reservation.
    • We make accommodations for guests with food allergies. (Our baby food does not contain the seven allergen categories that are required to be labeled, and our infant food has a low allergen content.)
    • You may bring your own baby food into our dining facilities.
  • Bedding

    • Children's pajamas (100cm, 120cm, 150cm sizes available)
    • Toothbrushes and slippers provided free of charge

    • Baby baths are available to borrow during your stay.

    Varies for each accommodation plan. Please see the information page of each accommodation plan for details.
  • Reservation Completion Time

    When you make a reservation through the website with on-site payment, your reservation will be completed when the reservation completion screen is displayed.
    When you make a reservation through the website with credit card payment, your reservation will be completed when the credit card payment is finalized.
  • Payment Methods

    For online reservations with on-site payment, payment will be made at the time of check-out.
    For advance payment by credit card, payment is made by credit card at the time the reservation is made online.
    If the conditions are different from those above, the conditions will be stated on the product information page.
  • Refunds

    Due to the nature of the accommodations and services, no refunds will be made after the stay.
  • Reservation Change/Cancellation

    Conditions for reservation changes and cancellations vary for each accommodation plan. Please see the information page of each accommodation plan for details.
  • Cancellation Charges (Penalty Fees)

    Cancellation fees are charged for cancellations made 7 or fewer days prior to arrival.
    7 days prior to arrival: 20% of the room rate
    2 days prior to arrival: 30% of the room rate
    1 day prior to arrival: 50% of the room rate
    On the day of arrival: 100% of the room rate
